The universities of Aberystwyth, Bangor, Cardiff and Swansea today
announced the launch of the Climate Change Consortium of Wales (C3W), a
£4 million initiative to be financed by the Welsh Assembly Government

IGES has been ranked in the top 12 Geography departments in Britain in the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise.
The results of the RAE, which have been published today, rate 20% of research activity in IGES as 'world-leading' and 65% as either 'world-leading' or 'internationally excellent'.
